The company has been established by two brothers, Paolo and Francesco, with the idea to manufacture components for the furniture industry, in a garage, in the Northeast of Italy, among farms and crafting new activities. Everything was hand made by families, so it was for the Chiappo family new venture.

The brothers moved from the house to a newly built shed, thanks to the encouraging results of their new venture which started to grow

The company gradually shifts its production from manufacturing furniture components to finished chairs, acquiring new customers from Germany. The chairs were always manufactured on demand upon the design of the customer.

The business moves to the current company site.

SIPA enlarges further its business, increasing its capacity, building new premises within the same factory.

Francesca, at the second generation, joins the family company.

Another son, Matteo, starts working for the family business.

The company decides to create own line of products, upon own concept, hiring some designers. The first Sipa Catalogue is born.

Starbucks choses SIPA as direct supplier for all the EMEA markets.

The old factory premises are remodeled, and new equipment is purchased. Two model pantographs of newest generation have been set up, empowering the Company capacity and increasing product quality.
