The founders approach in Italy a new multinational, Beckman Coultier, which, after testing successfully the machines, start to order Quality Invents devices. Later in the year, Beckman acquires Olympus, becoming the second-largest player in the diagnostics field in Italy after Roche.

First Dia XL installed. Meanwhile, the commercial relationship with Diasorin begins, thanks to new company product, a wastewater management device (mWRE/WRE). Diasorin later extends its purchases to the deionizers. That same year, Medical Systems and Dasit become new customers.

Another giant multinational company in the medical industry, Siemens, starts adopts Quality Invents technology and solutions. The company reaches 75% of the Italian market share, and exports in 12 other European and Asian countries.
