Giuseppe Talarico starts his profession as farmer in the village of Gizzeria, Calabria, Italy in a land rich of olive trees over the fertile hills facing the mediterranea sea. He works for different farms learning how to cultivate healthy olive groves and harvesting olives.

The son of Giuseppe, Sergio, joins the family business and works side by side learning the tradition of organic farming olive groves and produce high quality olives for the production of olive oil.

Sergio takes the leadership of the family venture and invests, along with his brother Antonio, to a olive mill, becoming direct olive oil producer under the name of "Oleificio Fratelli Talarico" and widening the family property of olive groves which reaches the size of 26 hectars.

Sergio's sons, Ivan and Valentino, enters the company and help their father in expanding further the business and improving the manufacturing of the olive oil transformation.

The company evolves into a new venture, thanks to the shareholders reorganization (Sergio's family acquires all shares from the brothers). Oleara Talarico borns inheritating 70 years of tradition, experience and knowhow in the art of olive harvesting and oil extraction.

New equipment is purchased, modernizing the entire production cycle, and guaranteeing even an higher extraction of the olive oil, bringing Talarico product to its excellence.

Ivan and Valentino invests in a new company communication, opening the traditional farm to modern media, setting up a brand new website and product packaging. The Company is now turning its growth strategy to international markets able to appreciate the family passion for the making of an extra vergin olive oil of unsurpassed quality.
